No pre-registration is necessary. Facilitators are trained in Skills for Psychological Recovery (SPR), a national program created for disaster recovery by the Veteran’s Administration National Center for PTSD. The program’s goals are to address survivors’ needs and concerns, as well as teach useful skills for problem-solving, managing reactions, and rebuilding social connections. The group will also promote helpful thinking and positive activities.
