Know the Signs: September 8 – 14 is Suicide Prevention Week
We join our fellow members of the North Bay Coalition on Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention in recognizing September 8-14, 2019 as National Suicide Prevention Week, share the message that suicide can be prevented, and provide the tools and resources for people to support themselves and those around them. Read on to learn more about the statewide “Know the Signs” campaign, and how you can spread the word:
Every day in our community, friends, family and coworkers struggle with emotional pain.
Sometimes, it can be difficult to talk about the pain, thoughts of suicide, and the need for help. Though the warning signs can be subtle, they are there.
