NAMI Sonoma County works hard to advocate for mental health needs in the community in two ways. First, we stay informed of legislation that is being considered by local, state and federal government in respect of mental health and how we address it as a community.
Secondly, NAMI Sonoma County helps remove stigma by providing presentations to local organizations, groups and schools. If you would like to have NAMI Sonoma County advocate at your organization, group or school on behalf of mental health and how we all can be a part of the solution, please call Lisa Kubiak, NAMI Signature Program Manager at 707-527-6655×3.
